Event registration & feedback forms

For event managers who use official registration and feedback forms on the platform. Attendee RSVP and feedback: Events & RSVP. Day-of hosting checklist: Organise an event.

Super Admin must turn on the matching switches under Modules → Events (Enable registration forms / Enable feedback forms) before public submit works. Managers with Super Admin access can still configure and preview forms while a switch is off.

Open Admin → Events (or your partner org Events console), create or edit an event, then use the Forms and Settings tabs.

Registration forms#

  1. On the Forms tab, open Registration forms.
  2. If none is attached yet:
    • Create registration form for a blank form, or
    • Choose an existing form under Copy an existing form… → Use copy (same organisation / platform library). A copy gets a new unique form ID and public link; submissions are not copied.
  3. Expand the form row (Edit) to set Form number (must stay unique), Form heading, and Status (Draft / Published / Closed).
  4. Required fields stay on the form: Name, Email, Country. Address is optional. Add custom fields as needed; use Edit, ↑ / ↓, and remove on custom fields.
  5. Registration follows the same Registration opens / closes window as classic RSVP (also on Settings). Blank open = available now; blank close = until the event starts. Submissions also stop once the event has started.
  6. Set status to Published and save. The public event page then uses this form as the primary register / RSVP path.

On the collapsed form row:

Button What it does
Edit Expands the form editor
Open / Preview Opens the public form (Open when published; Preview when draft or closed)
Copy link Copies the public form URL to the clipboard
Export CSV Downloads submissions
View results Shows the results table (including an empty report when there are no responses yet)

View results does not expand the form editor.

Detach and saved forms#

Detach form removes it as the event’s primary path but keeps it under Other saved forms with all responses. You can still open the link, export, view results, or Reattach later.

Delete form (permanent, including submissions) is available to Super Admin only — not to Admin or event managers.

Submitting a published registration form also records an RSVP (default Attending, unless the form shows an attendance field). Extra answers stay in form results / CSV.

Feedback forms#

  1. On Settings, leave Auto-create feedback form checked when saving a new event (or an event that has no feedback form yet). Optionally pick a Feedback form template to copy; leave Blank feedback form for the default (email, phone, star rating, comments).
  2. Or on the Forms tab → Feedback forms, use Create feedback form or Use copy from an existing feedback form (new unique form ID; answers are not copied).
  3. Expand Edit, set heading / unique form number / status, and choose who can leave feedback (email or phone matching RSVP / registration, or phone only).
  4. Publish when ready.

When Feedback appears on the event page#

  • Attendees see Feedback once the event has started or ended, if a published feedback form is attached (or the classic feedback box when no form is used).
  • Managers can open the form link from the event page anytime (useful for preview and sharing).
  • Respondents must match an Attending / Interested RSVP or a registration submission (email and/or phone). One response per email/phone; a browser cookie also blocks a second submit from the same device.

Use Copy link, Export CSV, and View results the same way as registration forms.

New event tip#

On Events management, Create event stays collapsed until you click New event. After save with Auto-create feedback form checked, open the Forms tab to publish and copy links.

Partner organisations#

Org admins use the same Forms and Settings behaviour inside the partner Org console → Events (org-scoped forms and logo on the public form). Platform Admin → Groups is separate and does not manage org forms.
