Posts & articles
Posts are longer platform articles and updates. Guests can read public posts; members may also see members-only posts.
Browse posts#
- Open Posts in the main menu (or go to Posts).
- Use Search posts…, category pills, Popular Tags, or sort (Newest / Popular / Oldest) to narrow the list.
- Open an article title to read it.
Only published posts appear in the public list.
Write a post#
If your role can submit posts:
- Sign in, then open Posts → Write a Post (create).
- Enter a title, body, and optional excerpt and cover image.
- Choose a Category (required). Some categories need approval before the post goes live.
- Add Tags if offered.
- Set Visibility to Public or Members Only, and decide whether to Allow comments.
- Click Save Draft to keep working, or Publish / submit — you may see “Posts may require approval before publishing.”
Outcomes:
- Published — the article is live (when your role can publish directly).
- Submitted for review — the post waits in pending review until staff approve it.
My Posts#
- Open My Posts (also linked from the Posts area).
- Use tabs All, Published, Pending, Drafts, and Rejected.
- Open a row to Edit, or start a new one with Write New Post.
Statuses you may see#
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Saved; not public. Use Submit for Review when ready. |
| Pending review | With the review team. You may see a banner that it is awaiting the moderator committee. |
| Published | Live on Posts. |
| Rejected | Not published. Read the Reason shown, edit, and resubmit. |
| Archived | Removed from the public list by staff. |
While a post is pending, editing may be locked unless staff allow edits or your role includes editing your own pending posts.
Engage on a published post#
When signed in on a published article you can often:
- Like or Save (bookmark)
- Share
- Submit Comment — comments are reviewed before they appear publicly
Guests may see a Leave a comment form (name and optional email) when comments are allowed.
Authors can moderate comments on their own posts from Pending Comments when a badge appears on My Posts.
Pre-publish review discussion#
If staff open a review thread on your article, look for Pre-publish review discussion on the post page. That conversation is for you and reviewers only — it is not the public comment section.
